Our Story
Where children rediscover joy
Alma Ann Charity grew out of a pastoral calling to extend compassion toward vulnerable children in Ghana. Over the years our founder encountered many orphaned and abandoned children, and this entity was established as more than a shelter.
It is a true home. A place where children are seen, heard, loved, and given the opportunity to rediscover joy and hope. Registration is planned in both Ghana and the Netherlands.
We serve orphans and abandoned children in the Eastern Region of Ghana with safe shelter, education, healthcare and emotional support.

Our Mission
We are committed to creating a Christ centred orphanage. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing shelter, offering access to education, healthcare and emotional support for orphans and abandoned children in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

We envision a Ghana where every vulnerable child is cherished. Our goal is to provide a home filled with safety and love, fostering spiritual grounding and emotional wellbeing, and guiding children toward discovering their life purpose through education and community impact.

Where we are heading
Alma Ann Charity is working to:
- House and care for more than 100 children with full facilities including dormitories, classrooms, a clinic and a chapel
- Operate a basic school from nursery through JHS, serving both orphans and children from the community
- Launch income generating activities such as farming and sewing centres
- Maintain partnerships with European and Ghanaian churches and NGOs
- Build a trained professional and volunteer team
